Amnu appoints new Head of Product, Steve

Amnu are delighted to welcome Steve Glasspool to the team as the Head of Product!

Steve is joining as Head of Product to drive the strategy for packaging our services and technical know-how into easily consumable packaged services and products.

He will be helping our existing customers and new prospects to get the best return on investment from Microsoft 365 and meet their Digital Transformation objectives, whilst offering his consultancy skill set along the way.

Amnu appoints new Head of Product, Steve Glasspool

Steve and his wife, Anna, have recently increased the size of their family through adopting their 7-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Outside of work Steve enjoys spending time with his family, good food, and getting into a good thriller on the telly. When the chance arises, he also enjoys going to the theatre to take in a show. He always looks forward to going abroad when he can and taking in the sunshine, with Cyprus as his destination of choice!

Steve has been working with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint for over 9 years, having picked it up as a job role straight out of university. Having started out in an administrator role he quickly moved into consulting, which he has been delivering for over 7 years, and worked his way to leading a team of Microsoft 365 specialists and mentoring graduates in this space.

Managing the quality of delivered work has also been a passion of his, which stemmed from opportunities he had in gaining qualifications as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001.

Steve has worked with hundreds of clients, of all shapes and sizes and spanning multiple verticals. His specialisms are in the end-to-end delivery of SharePoint Intranets and Document Management Systems (DMS).

Having completed Business Analysis (BA) qualifications, he has also had lots of experience in working between Customers and Microsoft 365 Developers, to ensure that specifications are fully captured and adhered to when delivering bespoke work in either SharePoint Framework (SPFX), PowerApps or any hybrid models.

Some notable projects and experiences have been;

  • Creation and management of product delivery methodologies to ensure all his customers received the same great experience
  • Performing Supplier Audits in Japan
  • Delivering SharePoint Training in Uganda and Nigeria
  • Fully specifying a large SPFX application to control document compliance when building Microsoft Data Centres
  • Delivering a full DMS for a new government body to control their trade investigations, post Brexit.
  • Delivering a large Intranet for an Ambulance Service that was fit for purpose for corporate services, call centre staff and paramedics

“I am pleased to be joining the knowledgeable and talented group at Amnu and look forward to extending our product portfolio together for current and potential customers. My goal is to enable our customers to utilise Microsoft 365 for all areas of their business whilst continuing to receive the same level of great service across this product range. This is a new and exciting challenge that was too good to pass by”

– Steve Glasspool

“We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team at Amnu! He has a wealth of experience and knowledge about Microsoft 365 and SharePoint, and we are confident that he will be an asset to our team. We are excited to see what he will achieve with us!”

– Hugh Valentine, Managing Director of Amnu
